Happy Friday, everyone! Thanks for your comments regarding the forum. I appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts. I also enjoyed reading through the comments from yesterday. I, too, have a craving for ice cream now! Ann, hope all is well on your end. And Towanda, thanks! She’s promised to pop in on Saturday with her Spanish Omelet recipe!

Okay, so what plans do we have for the weekend? Anyone doing anything fun? Here, the WM will throw on her tool belt as we make our third attempt at Daisy-proofing the garden fence! BTW, we were able to stake, rope and tie the corn back up, thus saving Wendy’s cucumbers. We lost some of the corn, as they broke in half, but I think most will make it.

Hope the weather is good where you are. I’d give you a report from here, but you’ll all be sick of my “hot and humid” comments until October! Actually, this is the time of year where it’ll be big news if we get rain. I’ll keep my weather comments to that! 

Forgot to report that I made a batch of sangria wine over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a hit!

With Partners coming out in November, I’ll post a few chapters on my site soon. I think I mentioned there was a shower scene with Tori and Sam and I think it’s in the second chapter. So, what am I going to do for the excerpt? Can’t spoil the book by posting an early sex scene, can I? When you read an excerpt, do you like it to be from the beginning? Speaking of excerpts, how much is too much? I had one reader tell me they read one of my excerpts (Behind the Pine Curtain) and felt like they already knew what the book was going to be about and how it would end and felt I gave too much away. Thoughts?
