Hope everyone had a great week! We had a wonderful time camping and enjoyed our Thanksgiving away. Got home today to find that my shipment of books has finally arrived!
For those of you who have ordered autographed copies….Partners will ship bright and early on Monday morning!
And for those of you who were insane enough to go shopping on Black Friday…I hope you survived!
Yes…the holidays are upon us! Such a wonderful time of year to reflect on our lives and give thanks to all the people who have touched us in some way, however large or small. Don’t forget to smile and say thank you when you’re out and about during this busy season. You may just make someone’s day.
Gerri, Gerri, Gerri… sneaking in a post late in the day on us, huh? Your ‘boys did alright yesterday I suppose. Remember to ship Wendy’s book first, mine second, and Judy’s last. No shopping for me. I hate crowds. Have a good time signing all those books and dont get writers cramp! We need you to keep writing our books! Have a good weekend.
My night here is almost over…I still have some crazy gung-ho black friday shoppers here…been yelled at a few times, but nothing much else. I can’t wait to get my book…I need something to read when the doors close for good here. I have smiled and said thank you most of the day, but as the day wears on, and the more I hear, “It’s too bad you are closing, you were a great store.” just puts salt in an already bleeding wound! I have no job prospects yet, and they are trying to get us severance…so if anyone knows any good jobs out there please advise…hope everyone has a great night…
Hey folks, sorry I have not been around much lately, but I have been busy and there has also been something eating at me the last few days which I now feel I would like to share with you guys in the hope that you can perhaps help me to understand the state of the world as it is today. I will start by stating that the following stories are all true and unembellished, and that I am sorry if any of you feel that I am being self absorbed or conceited in any way by sharing these with you, I will also state that I am willing to be receptive to any comments in response whether they be positive or negative and lastly, none of what I say is aimed at any of the people on this blog as I know you all to be wonderful people who would never respond to any of these situations in the way in which the people involved did.
I’ll start with the most recent incident, which occurred at our hotel a few days ago just as I was about to leave for the night a half hour after my shift had finished, I was in the office behind reception saying good bye to the night manager when I glanced at the cctv and noticed two young men in hooded tops ducking under the barrier into the car park and walking up towards the top level, I grabbed the controls to the camera, first taking a good picture of their faces then following their movements, as I saw them peering into a cars window I called to the night manager (who had watched the cctv with me) to call the police and acting on instinct ran out of the hotel, up two flights of steps to the top of the car park and ran towards the car yelling, I achieved my aim which was to scare them off before they could take anything but was unfortunately too late to prevent them breaking the window, in that car was two wallets, a sat nav, a laptop and a brief case, I recieved no thanks or acknowledgment for my actions, I am 5′3, female, and 55kg, the night manager, who is male, and a body builder, who stayed behind his desk and dialled the wrong number for the police (yes you read that correctly, the WRONG NUMBER for the POLICE!) recieved a card of thanks for his help and support through a trying and distraught night.
My second story is the most troubling. Last week, a friend of SPs family told his wife he would wait outside the supermarket while she did the shopping as he was not feeling well. On returning to her husband she found him slumped on the floor next to the bench where he had been sitting, unable to rouse him she called an ambulance, he was airlifted to the hospital in the nearest city where she was informed that he had had a heart attack, he is now in a coma with a 5 percent chance of recovery. This occurred in a town without drunks or tramps, outside a supermarket, it is not possible that his having a heart attack could have gone unnoticed by the lord knows how many people passing by, how is it possible that no one stopped to help?
During our year backpacking in australia we stayed a week in a hostel which had a pool, one day relaxing by the pool a mother brought her two sons to the pool, changed them, and told them to hop on in, she then left them. We were sat with friends playing cards at a table by the pool and wondered why the boys never let go of the side of the pool and simply spent their time hanging on to the side of the pool edging their way around it… it was because they could not swim. We glanced up and saw the younger of the brothers stood at the side of the pool staring down, frozen, at a spot in the pool, we followed his gaze to find the horrifying sight of only the top of a small black head of hair and two tiny hands desperately grabbing for a side of the pool which was a meter away just before the whole pool went horribly quiet. Kay pulled him out, I administered mouth to mouth resuscitation, he had stopped breathing. One of our friends took his brother to fetch their mother, by the time she arrived at the pool her son was breathing fine and was sat up chatting to us. The lady grabbed her son by the arm and began screaming at us to leave her boy alone along with several other obscene things which I shall not repeat, at first we put it down to her being in shock and no doubt extremely distraught, except that, for the rest of that week that we stayed in that hostel, every time she saw us we were given another mouthful of choice words. This story, apart from the fact that a mother would leave two sons who can not swim unattended in a pool, does not bother me quite so much as the others, neither Kay or myself were put at any risk, and saving that boys life was enough of a reward in itself, but still, a thank you would have been nice.
So my question is this, what has happened to such things as human compassion and decency, and what has happened to simple common courtesy? Is it the reaction you get to a simple act of human kindness nowadays that has caused those acts to become so rare? Or is it that people are beginning to feel that if someone is stupid enough to put themselves in a hazardous/stupid situation that they deserve the consequences.
Sorry to take over the blog, but I would really appreciate your opinions, it’s just been nagging at me over the last few days, and the problem is that it’s not just these large examples I have given, it happens all the time, every day, in small ways too… or you can just tell me to shut up and stop being such a whinge.
Firstly, nice to see you back Gerri and that you had a good break. DOn’t forget to listen to Norma!
Now to you, Shyfox. I don’t think you’re whinging at all. I think you need to let off steam and we probably all have a good moan about things, I know I do. All the incidents that you mentioned are worth mentioning and you have very right to feel frustrated and upset about the lack of respect and curtesy in the world today. I don’t think a week goes by when we’re not shocked by something that people do or don’t do.
The first incident, were you crazy! A body builder stayed in the office while you ran to the rescue! I’m glad to know that you’re safe. As for dialing the wrong number???? It’s the same number 3 times, how can anyone dial that wrong! You know, in hindsight, you have a sign up that says all vehicles are left at the owners risk. If they were stupid enough to leave all those things in the car…then why risk your life. I think after the lack of thanks you got then that is the attitude you should take in future. Thankfully though not everyone would have only thanked the guy. I’m thinking though, did they even know what you did? Or did they just see him there as the night manager and he never mentioned you risked your life running out there. Either way, that’s insulting after what you did. But know that you did the right thing, the good thing.
The second story. That is just, well words fail me that not one person even bothered to help or check. Even if someone didn’t want to approach because you can never tell these days, they have options, phone an ambulane or go into the nearest store and get the security guard. Just don’t ignore someone and from what you said, your friend’s husband in no way will have looked like a drunk or tramp. I do know from TV who they do these set ups, like the one to see if anyone would approach a crying kid to help, that few people do. But that really is because of the risk of being seen as a child snatcher. My view on it is that there are always alternatives, get someone else to help you, phone the police on your mobile, anything but don’t ignore. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and hope that the 5% chance is his. That is a shocking story.
The third, I’d have called social services and made a complaint about the mother for child neglect. I would say she mouthed off at you both so much because she knew she was in the wrong. So if she attacked you first there was less chance of you saying something. People can be like that. At least you were there to save the kid’s life. If you hadn’t done anything she’d have attacked yu for that too, but at least you did and that kid is still here thanks to you both.
I’d say they people have become more driven by mercenary things in life now. In war times we heard how people would help their neighbours and always be there for each other. Now it’s all about keeping up with the Jones and every man for himself attitude. People will help as long as it doesn’t put them out. Ok that’s a very cynical perspective on the World, but from what I’ve seen it’s true. Like you said though, not the women on this blog, whom I have found to be wonderfully warm and generous women.
All I’ll add now is to say, don’t stop being who you are because of others and continue to treat people the way you would like to be treated, even if some ignorant people don’t reciprocate it.
Hi all,
Just a quickie, but its been a bit so I was going thru blog withdrawals!
First off YIPPEE! WHOO HOO! Yee HAW!!!! FANTASTIC! yea for Gerri for finally getting your set of copies of the book. I look forward to receiving my copy and if I can manage to show some restraint, it is going to be my entertainment on my flight back to CA! Then again, I know I have no self control and will probably stay up all night once I get it! Glad you had a nice camping trip! Does your fancy schmancy camper allow you to prepare a thanksgiving meal? We’re still eating leftovers!
Norma, you had a TON of food, but I think for SP and me, we did pretty well ourselves. Turkey breast, stuffing/dressing, garlic mashed red potatoes, green bean casserole (isn’t it a sin to not have this at thxgiving?!), butternut squash, cranberries (a sin not to have if you live in New England!), pumpkin pie with vanilla icecream, and I think that is it. SP made the dog a plate of everything that won’t make a dog sick, and of course the dog ate it in about 3 minutes and decided that she liked that better than her normal meal so did not eat the next day (until she realized she wasn’t getting thxgiving dinner every day!) Sounds like others had a nice time too!
I’ve got most of the xmas lights I will put out up on the house. A few trees to try and decorate and we’ll be done!
Shyfox, I am not surprised by the experiences you related. My sis and bro in law have a pool at their house and had their kids’ end of the season sports party at their house. Despite warnings that parents were repsonsible for watching their kids if outside, a little girl fell in the pool and nearly drown while her parents were inside chatting away. My brother about had a heart attack and swears he will never have a similar party again because someone almost died at his house.
HOWEVER, despite stupid/uncaring situations, there are also many nice things that do happen. I know in our town, there are people who open their homes to elderly who have no one else at thanksgiving so they are not alone. I also saw on the news people who have donated money and supplies to families who were burned out of their apt. bldg (and neighbors who took them in over the holiday), and two incidents where folks had health issues and people DID stop to help them. Many find it hard to do “nice” things when it is not planned, but it does happen. Not all people are a$$holes, and you are right, some people are apathetic if it doesn’t concern them. I am glad you did not fall prey to that apathy and I hope that despite a lack of gratitude, you would continue to be “helpful”. Kudos to you and all others like you!
Good morning/afternoon GGG’s!
Shyfox, just continue doing what you think is right and a pox on everyone else! That is all you can do.
I am thankful for having met such a great group of women on Gerri’s blog. Thanks Gerri!
So much for my cool weather. It was 84 degrees yesterday and it is already 70 and it is not yet 5am. Bummer.
Shyfox:
Most everyone in this world has lost compassion. It sickens me to see all the tbinks that happen and I am sure all of us have stories to tell. I am surprised how many people come in here and try to joke with me about being my store closing and “If Santa is getting me a new job for Christmas.” I lost it yesterday when I heard, “thats why you’re going out of business!” I try to have a heart for all people, but more and more I see myself growing cold to many things going on around me. Well, I have to go, I am at work, have a good rest of the weekend everyone!
morning GGG’S
Gerri glad you had a nice break good to see you back
nORMA all in 1 day wow , send me a diggy bag ha ha
i love your life with all that amazing food around you
but realized yesterday it has to stop, and the pounds / stone has to come off woops
SS countdown to Friday then eh ????
Slyfox its a shame but yes it does seem sometimes that its a thankless world but for every one of you that do do that 1 or many good deeds it makes life still worthwhile and you and otheres that do these selfless things just make that difference so, basically dont let the buggers get you down and just look back and know that you did the right thing and made that difference.
and in the case of the security guard if he is taking the praise then he has to live with his consionce so just smile at him when you pass. re the child well i reckon he wouldnt be here now if you all hadnt of acted. and do agree with WWWendy the mother felt guilt.
re you sp’s family friend unfortunatley the world we live in stops a lot of people now from stepping forward , which is even more reason why selfless people make the difference , best wishes too him.
Shannon good luck in finding a new job i think you did amazing to not let it spoil your thanksgiving .
Anneroo
set off from home -3c, got there and 3c on land 8c at 25metre depth, all the puddles in the car park were iced over and the peaks of the mountains surounding were snow covered plus the grass was white with frost . i got some pics but not sure how much they show. there was a tunnel at 22m, wide enough for 2 thank crunchy for my new super dooper torch ha ha .
well GGG’s enjoy the day
norma woops again just re-read what i put
erm first i meant Doggy not Diggy and 2nd
i meant ME for pounds and stone ha ha wow what a misinterpretation that nearly was lol
i was putting my undersuit on yesterday and my dive buddy had to zip it up whilst i fought to first get it together , then keep it together , not good !!
Hi Ally,
That sounds a bit nippy and not much better here. It was -6C 21F here when I left for work, no snow but the white frost you mentioned. Me being me, went out with wet hair, no gloves, no hat, no scarf, I’m in training for Dec/Jan
Get into work thinking I’ll warm up nicely to find out the boliers had gone over the weekend. They’re just starting to warm up now, 4 hours later. Oh and even though it’s not out of date, all the milk is sour!
wwwendy oh you poor thing yak off milk not good - 6 wow ,
no idea what it was this morning all i know is last night had to de-ice 2 cars just to swap them round just to wake up and have to do same again to mine this morning but the window wiper was not for budging out ouf that ice . just had a nice call though Pats meeting me in town to do some shopping oh i love spur of the moment lol
did you get to ride on Sun?
I use the bus for work so no scraping the ice for me except at weekends.
That’s nice meeting Pat for shopping. It’s hell here going out at lunch.
Yep I went riding yesterday, the sun came out was great. Got my boy Jakes this week, he’s so sweet and so we did some cantering work.
Have fun shopping.
Hey everyone, first off, thankyou to everyone for your heart warming responses to my post, I felt better just for venting and a lot more my normal self having read your responses, and thank you for you well wishes for Jentz. Wendy, just to explain about the wrong number for the police, we keep the number for the local police station next to the phone behind reception which we would use to report a crime which has already occurred, you’d just think that a night manager would have the brains to dial 999 for a crime which is currently occurring and you want an urgent response to. As for risking my life, at the time I wasn’t thinking about that, in hindsight I realised running out there was kind of a stupid thing to do they could have had a knife or they could have whacked me with that giant torch they used to break the window, but all I was thinking about at the time was the poor guy who was about to have his car striped and I just reacted on instinct.
Enough about me, and apologies to Gerri for taking over the blog. I am also, OF COURSE, extremely excited about the release of partners and jump out of bed every morning when I hear the post man come, SP says I’m worse than a dog at the moment! lol. I hope we see a bit more of Sam in this one, I have a bit of a crush on her.
Norma, everyone has commented on your TWO absolute feasts that you had for thanksgiving and I have to say… WOW! Just as everyone else has said, all in one day!! I wouldn’t have been able to move for a week! Did you have some nice bubble n squeak the next day? Yum.
Shannon, I’m really sorry to hear about your store, is it YOUR store or are you an employee? I have been thinking about your situation but what I have to say would probably seem a bit of an insult if you’ve owned your own business, but if you’re looking for work and are interested in a new career, there are always jobs in hospitality. Express by Holiday Inn is always a nice place to start, Holiday Inn is a really nice company to work for and the Express by is a good place to learn a bit about everything in hotels and a great stepping stone for a career.
Other than that, where is everybody?
JT, I miss you too and hope that you are well, but don’t worry, I have a few days next week when I should be available to spend a few hours on the blog and we can visit a bit then. Do you know the chords for a few christmas songs and hymns? I have been searching the internet but haven’t been able to find anything that I can use.
As everyone has mentioned, the weather is deffinately COLD! Winter is hear and a HAPPY ADVENT to everyone! It is 3 degrees C here today in Cardiff and Ally, we too had a hard time defrosting the car today, the de-icer barely even nipped at the ice and we had to get the scrapper out and hack at it for a good 15 minutes.
So… everyone got their christmas shopping done?
Hi Shyfox, now that makes sense on the dialing the wrong number and yes, you only realise after the incident and just react.
It’s a much warmer 1C here now!
Only a chrush on Sam? Hell, I have a crush on all 3 of them! Sam, Tori and Casey. I’m a bit miffed that Gerri gave Casey to someone else, I was kind of hoping she’d hook me up with her!
I think our humour would rub off well together.
Christmas shopping, done, wrapped, all cards written and the overseas ones posted!
All done wrapped and posted! Struth! You have been a busy girl, tried to get some done myself yesterday but it was like a cattle market in town! I know… hanging my head in shame, I’ve left it too late, Next is practically all out of everything my family has requested from there, tried to order it online but their website really does not work, will have to try again in town on weds.
You guys had snow up north yet? None down here but it has been cold enough, can barely type, my fingers have turned to fice-iccles
Well, the truth is I only have about 5 presents to buy so really easy for me. At least I’ve done that I really do need to finalise my trip I fly 4 weeks on Sun and still don’t have a hotel or the internal flight!
Cattle market I hear you! It’s horrendous here today. That’s bad about their website. Do you only have 1 Next in Cardiff? Btw, sold out thought we had a credit crunch! All I see is people spending.
No snow where I am but might be on the hills. Peg has snow though lots of it.
mornin’ all!
hope you had a nice weekend! WWWendy, if you truly have all of your Christmas shopping/cards done, I HATE YOU!
I’ve not thought of cards, and only have a few prezzies purchased. Oh well, I always seem to get it done, so expct this year will be the same.
Ally, you are bloody mad, woman! I am surprised the surface of the water didn’t freeze you under! BLECK! Is there anything to see under there when it is that cold? A tunnel, eh? I am petrified of tunnels/caves knowing i have a limited supply of air. If i can’t see the exit, I won’t go in.
Shy, glad ur feeling better though it sounds like your a bit chilly! We are nowhere near that cold, but I have come down w/ a cold myself. I am not a very good sick person. Just leave me alone and I’ll come out when I am well.
And since the work has continued to pile up, I should get to it! I shall resume my daily dash to the postbox now that Gerri says she’s done teasing us.
Hi to everyone else! My head is too “thick with ick” to go thru the rollcall! Be well, stay warm, and enjoy your week!
Only five presents? Must be nice having a small family, I have 8 presents to buy on my side and 7 on SPs side for immediate family and then she has 10 sets of uncles and aunts and 19 cousins… we just do a few small gifts for a small selection of them. And then of course there’s SP…
Yeah, I saw Ally say she has snow, Ally, where’s your patriotism, share with your southern cousins… please, send me some snow?
Anneroo, sorry to hear you’re bad, have a hot toddy, hot water whiskey, honey and lemon juice, it’ll clear you right up! And I hear you about the tunnels, no way would I be swimming through any, confined space, limited air supply, uncertain of exit… no no no… only if someone tied a rope around my waist
anneroo soory to here your crook at least your taking it in turns with SP how is she, yes your right i guess i am mad .
but god its good and so exhilerating re tunnel about 50 yards so not too long its an old slate mine thats been filled up, saw a lovely white van in there ha ha
Slyfox Wales had the best weather yesterday thats where we were north near Nantle
WWWendy god you just too organised , were wrapping tonight so ive been informed lol
Shy, not a whiskey girl, but I am drinkin’ hot tea w/ honey and lemon!
A rope would be good in a cave/tunnel Shy… Tie a rope around me waist so they can pull me dead body out after I panic and suck all the air from my tank!
Ally, 50 yard tunnel… that’s far! My thoughts as I read that were… Slate mine, mines cave in, I don’t want to be anywhere NEAR it, Lovely van to see or not! Is there any fish or critters down there or have they all frozen and keeled?
SP is doing better. Goes to doc today for follow up and then off to physical therapy. She’s been good about her exercises so I think she’s on her way.
thats great re Sp how longs the physio for or does it depend on what doc says , shes done well to say how poly shes been ,
re fish didnt see any this time saw 2 about 2 months back,
all being well were back next weekend probably last before christmas so ill keep an eye out, you look after that chill
Slyfox snows all gone sorry none to share

Hi GGGs & Gerri.
Shyfox, as the other gggs said, don’t change, your right they are wrong. Did your busy season started? Ours starts after Christmas Day, when all the big corp celebrate their parties and tourist come fleeing from the cold.
I already bought my Xmas presents and wrote my cards, do not hate me.
The weather is pretty nice, 80 F at day 60F at night. However, I saw snow today in a shopping ctr. They have a machine producing snow and the kids were crazy playing it it and to be true, I felt like jumping with them inside the snow. I know, don’t laugh, I’m too old for that.
Ally, Friday is coming and its fun, but I do not think its the one.
Hey babies, glad to see you are back. Miss you Emm & Baby Raye.
Norma, have you tried the real “lechon asado a la varita”? That is the one that really taste good with extra crunchy skin. They insert the whole marinated pig in a wood stick and roast it very slowly over a coal stove that keeps going around and around. I can’t eat it but it is good.
See you around, girls
Hey Lotus…Damn Did I miss you? Try all methods of communication you can find me, that’s what secret agents do!
Shyfox:
I do not personally own the store…it is (was) a privatly owned company and I am a store manager. I built it from the ground up with the few core associates that I have left. I feel that it is my second home, and my second family and it is really hurting me emotionally because I love that place so much. I have to open tomorrow and the liquidator will be there…and she does not know my store, my clientele, or my associates…and I dont like it. I just hate that I was one of the most highest grossing stores, and yet I am going down with the Titanic, but I told the assocaites that I would stay there til the end if they would…but I do have an interview on Friday, and I feel a bit like a backstabber…but yet, I have to do what is right…I want a job after Christmas…
and Lin and I did the house up all nice and pretty…I will send out pics of her and Ky putting ornaments up on the tree…well I will talk to you gals later…luv us
hey ss, i got your email and i was so happy to hear about your life and see pictures of your family. you guys look so nice. i promise i will write you back. just ask norma. right norma???? she will tell you !!!
we have been home from clogging about one hour. we stopped and got something to eat and drink at mcdonalds . pat is in the shower and i will follow. this is her busy time of the year and now until christmas the days gets longer.
norma i hope you got my text about the bread pudding. pats mama puts honey in hers. do you? i want to make it for her at christmas.i still have not sent carolines pictures yet. sorry. hopefully this week. i am getting some christmas cards made for pat and myself. i will send you one when they come in.
hey baby raye. i will try to email you too. send your address on my email and i will send you one also.
hey butch– you too!!
well off to the shower and to bed for pat and me. a long day tomorrow.
good night ladies.. dianne and pat
hey baby raye.
oh i forgot to tell ya’ll this. last friday(black friday) a man with a ski mask hid in a closet at our local goodys in macon and when everyone was almost gone home, came out and robbed the store manager and the asst. manager of the days earning while they were getting ready to go to the bank. they have not caught him yet.he had on a ski mask.
pat said a lady had 5 pants and 3 sweaters and 4 wallets in a big shopping bag and was just about ready to walk out of macys when the security guy caught her.
this world has gone crazy!!!
Hey folks.
Shannon, I really do feel for you, I know what you mean about your work place being your second home, and the people you work with being like family, heck, when there’s no guests around Kay and I call the Deputy GM “Da”!, that’s welsh for dad, long story, but he’s our best mate as well as our boss, I know it would kill me if the hotel were to close down and we were all to be split up, and all those years of hard work making the place the best were to just be dissolved. I’m sure you will stay in touch with everyone though, and as for looking for a new job, don’t feel guilty, none of it is your fault and a birds gotta eat, you know? I’m glad you have opportunities opening for you.
SS, yes, the christmas craziness has started, the christmas music is playing 24-7, there are fewer of the tables for 1 or 2 having dinner at the end of a hard days work and more of the larger tables having a seasonal meal and a good old knees up in the restaurant, people are drinking more in the bar and we have christmas parties in the function rooms this fri, sat and sunday. It’s not very helpful that we have supply problems with our turkey! The delivery didn’t come in at all this week and the delivery we have on thursday I only expect to last the weekend and then it’ll be back to apologising during the week. Around the 12th business is suddenly gonna go flat though until about the 8th of January, so I have the opposite problem with the rosta then, too many staff and not enough shifts. Can’t believe you finished your christmas shopping already, I don’t hate you, am just very jealous, gotta get up early and head into town tomorrow to do mine.
Dianne, yes, this world has gone crazy, did you read my earlier post? As for theft, we had a guy the other week decided midnight was far too early for us to close the bar so went nuts at the staff and then tried to jump the bar, didn’t make it though, the pumps got in the way (dumbass), scared the heck out of poor Becks though, she usually only does restaurant, completely froze and forgot all about the panic button, she was just stood their eyes wide back pressed against the back bar watching this guy swipe at her, but luckily the night manager (not the one from my previous story, the good one) was watching the bar on the cameras and came over and dragged him away. Just remember kids, you misbehave in a hotel bar you’re not just looking at being kicked out of the bar but out of the hotel too!
SS, I can’t get my crackling on my roast pork to go… well… crackly…
Slyfox weve moved over hun see nov 2nd
see ya
woops Dec 2nd even !!
I’n so sad…….Gerri has left and I can’t find any of my GGG friends….
and OMG! I missed out on getting one of Gerri’s “signed” books…..If there is anyone who remembers me…please let me know…
I’m affraidI’ve been super busy with trying to sell houses. With the market so bad and all, I’ve had to do nothing, and I mean nothing, but concentrate on realestate. If anyone can see this, please forgive me for being away so long. Gerri….If you see this, I can only say, I’m sorry to see you go but I totally understand. May life, love, and great friends continue to bring you all the happiness in the world. Good luck with your writing and I look forward to reading your books for many years to come.
